Product Description
This tension pulley is made of white, solid engineering plastic. The pulley body features a central mounting hole, and the pulley surface is smooth and toothless, making it an idler pulley. It offers high dimensional accuracy, a dense, wear-resistant surface, and good self-lubricating properties. It is compatible with the AROL series of screw-cap machine drive belt assemblies and can directly replace original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts. Installation is simple, and it is suitable for continuous, high-speed production line operations.
Application Location
Installed on the drive mechanism of the AROL capping machine head, at the tension adjustment station of the synchronous belt circuit, this component is part of the driven idler pulley assembly in the capping machine’s main drive belt system. It is located along the power transmission belt path of the capping head and is used to support and tension the belt.
FUNCTIONS
1. Applies constant tension to the drive synchronous belt, compensating for belt elongation and contraction during operation to prevent slippage and tooth skipping;
2. Guides and supports the belt, limiting lateral movement during operation to ensure stable power transmission to the capping head;
3. Dampens vibrations generated by high-speed operation, reduces belt noise, ensures stable torque output during capping, and guarantees consistent cap tightening.
