Product Description
The capping arm top seal (XGY-GMIM00022327) is a black TC-type skeleton oil seal with a ring-shaped structure. Designed specifically for the rotating shaft at the top of the capping arm on AROL capping machines, it provides dynamic sealing under continuous rotation, preventing external dust, cap debris, and cleaning mist from entering the chamber while retaining internal lubricating grease. Suitable for the humid cleaning environments of filling production lines, its dimensions are identical to those of the original equipment manufacturer’s (OEM) part, allowing for direct replacement.
Application Location
Designed for use with AROL capping machines, this component is installed at the point where the power input shaft on the top of the capping arm (capping head assembly) interfaces with the housing. It is part of the upper drive section of the capping arm and serves as the sealing point at the power input end of the capping rotation.
FUNCTIONS
1. Oil Sealing: Prevents lubricating oil from leaking out of the capping arm chamber, maintaining proper lubrication of the bearings and gears.
2. Contaminant Barrier: Prevents bottle cap debris, dust, and cleaning water mist from entering the interior of the capping arm, thereby preventing corrosion and wear of the transmission components.
3. Dynamic Sealing: During high-speed rotation of the capping arm, the sealing lip remains in constant contact with the rotating shaft, maintaining sealing performance under rotational conditions.
