Product Description
This seal features a TC-type skeleton oil seal design, with a rigid metal skeleton encased in an outer layer of rubber. The lip incorporates an integrated tension spring and is molded from fluorocarbon rubber (FKM), a material resistant to high temperatures and various media. Its integral annular structure is dimensionally matched to the assembly location on the cap-turning arm’s rotary shaft. The rubber lip is precision-molded to provide self-adaptive gripping capability, making it suitable for the continuous reciprocating rotation of the cap-turning arm. Resistant to oil, cleaning agents, and high-temperature environments, it is resistant to aging and hardening, making it an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) replacement seal for filling and capping equipment.
Application Location
Installed on the rotating spindle of the capping arm in a filling and capping machine, the capping arm is the core rotating component responsible for the capping action. The oil seal assembly is mounted between the capping arm’s rotating shaft and the bearing housing, isolating the internal lubricant chamber of the capping arm from the external production environment. It is commonly used in fully automatic capping equipment for the beverage, personal care, food, and pharmaceutical industries.
FUNCTIONS
1. Oil Sealing to Prevent Leaks: Prevents lubricating grease from the internal bearings and gears of the capping arm from leaking out, thereby avoiding contamination of bottles and materials.
2. Dust and Contamination Protection: Prevents moisture, dust, cleaning solutions, and material debris from the production environment from entering the interior of the capping arm, thereby protecting the bearings and transmission components.
3. Dynamic Sealing: Maintains a tight seal between the shaft surfaces during the capping arm’s continuous rotation and intermittent start-stop operations, keeping the equipment’s transmission chamber clean.
