Product Description
This suction pad features a curved, block-shaped structure with a regular array of small vacuum holes on its surface and an adhesive backing on the bottom. It is molded as a single piece from a wear-resistant, porous adhesive material. The part’s curved shape matches the contour of a 500-ml bottle, and the vacuum holes are evenly spaced to ensure uniform suction. It is a dedicated consumable for the bottle-removal station on Sacmi blow molding machines. The porous structure allows for stable vacuum formation and conforms to the curved surface of the bottle, preventing scratches on the PET bottle’s surface.
Application Location
The bottle retrieval station (rear suction station) in the downstream section of the Sacmi blow molding machine is used to suction the formed 500-ml PET bottles from the mold after the blow molding process is complete and transfer them to the conveyor track. It is part of the suction assembly of the blow molding machine’s bottle-discharge manipulator.
Functions
Using vacuum suction, the system picks up the molded 500-ml PET bottles, enabling the automated transfer of the bottles from the mold to the conveyor line. The vacuum vent holes distribute the suction force evenly, ensuring stable bottle pickup without drop-offs during high-speed, continuous production, and working in conjunction with the robotic arm to perform high-speed transfer operations.
