Product Description
This product is a TG4-type rotary skeleton oil seal, featuring a metal skeleton covered with fluororubber and an internal stainless steel compression spring, utilizing a double-lip sealing structure; the outer ring of the oil seal is equipped with anti-slip grooves, which effectively prevent ring slippage or displacement after press-fitting. The fluororubber material is resistant to high temperatures, lubricating oils, and corrosion from acidic and alkaline cleaning solutions. Specifically designed for the reciprocating rotational conditions of the AROL capping arm, it can directly replace the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part. Installed on the upper rotating shaft of the capping arm, it provides a dynamic seal that prevents oil leakage and blocks external contaminants from entering the bearing chamber.
Application Location
On AROL capping machines, the upper rotating shaft of the capping arm (the top end of the capping head assembly, where the capping arm’s main shaft mates with the housing) requires this dynamic seal as part of the capping actuator unit. Each set of capping arms on a single AROL capping machine must be equipped with this oil seal.
FUNCTIONS
1. Oil Retention Seal: Contains the lubricating grease within the capping arm bearing chamber, preventing lubricant from leaking out and contaminating the bottles and filling area;
2. Protective Barrier: Prevents CIP (Clean-in-Place) water, water vapor, dust, and cap debris from entering the bearing interior, thereby protecting the capping arm bearing;
3. Dynamic Seal: During the capping arm’s high-speed reciprocating rotational motion, the lip maintains continuous contact with the shaft surface, ensuring a reliable dynamic seal and guaranteeing stable operation of the capping head. This oil seal.
