Product Description
Food-grade black rubber O-rings, individually packaged, are made from materials that comply with food contact regulations. They are resistant to high temperatures and acid and alkali cleaning solutions, and are commonly used as replaceable seals for preventive maintenance of Tetra Pak equipment. These O-rings are static seals and must be replaced regularly in accordance with the Tetra Pak equipment maintenance manual to prevent aging and cracking, which can lead to aseptic leaks and equipment downtime.
Application Location
Used in fluid connection points on Tetra Pak aseptic filling lines, aseptic valve assemblies, product pipelines, aseptic tanks, heat exchangers, and other equipment; commonly used for static sealing points such as valve covers, flanges, and joint chambers in Tetra Pak dairy and beverage aseptic packaging machines, providing sealing in both product circuits and cleaning and sterilization circuits.
FUNCTIONS
1. Isolate the medium to prevent leaks of product materials, cleaning solutions, and steam;
2. Prevent bacteria from the outside air from entering the sterile chamber to maintain a sterile pressure environment within the system;
3. Maintain seal integrity during CIP cleaning and SIP steam sterilization to ensure continuous production.
