Product Description
Food-grade rubber O-rings, with a circular cross-section, are sealing components specifically designed for Tetra Pak’s original aseptic filling equipment. The material complies with food contact requirements and can withstand CIP/SIP cleaning and sterilization conditions on the production line. They are used to seal pipes, valve bodies, valve cores, and fittings to prevent leakage of the product and cleaning media, thereby ensuring a sterile environment.
Application Location
Compatible with Tetra Pak series aseptic filling machines (such as the TBA series), these parts are primarily used for sealing points in fluid pathways—including product valves, cleaning valves, pipe fittings, pistons/valve cores, and aseptic circuit bypass tubes. They are classified as spare parts for routine maintenance and are commonly included in periodic maintenance kits for the equipment.
FUNCTIONS
1. Sealed Isolation: Prevents leakage of liquids (such as milk, beverages, and other food materials, as well as acidic and alkaline cleaning solutions), isolates the chamber from external air, and maintains sterile chamber pressure;
2. Gap Compensation: After assembly, rubber elastic filler parts are used to fill gaps, ensuring a seal suitable for static or low-amplitude reciprocating motion;
3. Ensuring Sterility: The sealing interface has no dead zones; combined with CIP/SIP (Clean-in-Place/Sterilize-in-Place) processes and high-temperature sterilization, this prevents microbial growth and product contamination.
