Product Description
The SACMI brand pressure-sensitive labeling roller, with product code 8L10000428, is compatible with the following models: SACMI 8L Series rotary OPP hot-melt roll-fed labeling machines (such as the 8LMODK, etc., full-wrap labeling machines for beverage PET bottles).
It is installed at the labeling station, behind the vacuum drum, at the labeling station (label application station) of the bottle carrier turntable.

1. The bottle rotates with the central turntable to the labeling position, and the vacuum drum transfers the OPP label onto the bottle body;
2. The 8L10000428 rubber pressure roller is positioned on the outer side of the bottle and, together with the bottle support (support roller), clamps the bottle in place**. It rotates with the bottle, pressing the OPP film tightly against the bottle surface, smoothing it out, and removing air bubbles to complete the wrap-around labeling process.

1.Presses against the bottle body and drives the bottle’s rotation to ensure the OPP label completely wraps around the bottle;
2. Compacts the label overlap seam, eliminates air bubbles and wrinkles, and prevents label curling;

- Functions as a driven wheel with no drive mechanism; rotation is driven by friction from the bottle.
3. Labeling Process Performance (Core)
(1） Pressing and De-airing: The OPP film is pressed firmly at the moment of labeling to expel air bubbles between the bottle and the label, reducing label bulging;
(2) Sealing the Overlap: Pressure is applied at the OPP overlap to ensure the hot-melt adhesive bonds securely, preventing label edges from curling or the label from splitting;
(3)Synchronized Bottle Drive: Works with the inner bottle support rollers to clamp the bottle, ensuring the bottle’s rotational linear speed matches the label feed speed, thereby eliminating skewed or stretched labels;
(4)Gentle and Stable Pressure: The rubber has slight elasticity, allowing it to adapt to minor deviations in bottle roundness without denting PET bottles.
4. Operating Conditions and Service Life Characteristics
- Suitable for high-speed rotary labeling and continuous operation at high cycle rates on beverage production lines;
- As the rubber wears down and its outer diameter decreases, labeling pressure is directly affected, leading to typical issues such as air bubbles and label curling;
- Disadvantages: Long-term use causes rubber aging, surface smoothing (resulting in slippage), and buildup of hot-melt adhesive residue, requiring periodic replacement;
- Maintenance: Can be installed and removed individually without disassembling the entire labeling module.
