SACMI CCM iSlit Bottle Cap Machine—Stem-Cutting Blade for Tamper-Evident Rings, Part Number: 8L10006690. This elongated blade features multiple mounting holes. The blade body is manufactured from high-alloy tool steel with a precision-ground cutting edge. It is designed to be used in conjunction with the 8L10006688 moving blade. Once assembled, the cutting gap is controlled to the micron level, enabling the cutting of tamper-evident bridges on HDPE bottle caps during high-speed production while ensuring a smooth cut and uniform bridge thickness. Designed specifically as a fixed blade for bottle cap injection molding equipment.
Application Location
Installed on the iSlit ring-cutting station of the Sacmi CCM compression-molding cap machine, this blade holder remains stationary and is positioned to align with the rotating cutting blade. It serves as the fixed-side cutting tool for the cap tamper-evident ring cutting unit, where the cut is made in the tamper-evident ring after the cap is formed.

1. As a stationary cutting tool, it forms a micrometer-level shear gap with the rotating cutting tool (8L10006688) to collaboratively cut the tamper-evident ring on HDPE bottle caps.
2. It supports the bottle cap cutting process by stably controlling the residual connection thickness of the tamper-evident ring, ensuring that the ring remains secure when the cap is unopened and breaks cleanly when unscrewed.
3. Works in conjunction with the moving cutter to achieve high-speed, continuous cutting, ensuring smooth, burr-free cuts for high-volume bottle cap production and reducing the defect rate associated with ring breakage.
