Product Description
Precision-machined from a single piece of aluminum alloy using CNC technology, with a hardened surface finish; the body features recesses for mold positioning, holes for locating pins, threaded holes for locking, and mounting ports for oil and air lines. The side incorporates an integrated mounting bracket for hinged bearings. With high geometric and positional tolerance accuracy, it offers excellent rigidity and weight reduction, making it suitable for the continuous, high-speed cycling conditions of bottle-blowing machines and providing a stable mounting reference for the mold.
Application Location
Installed on the left side of the turret mold frame of the Contiform stretch-blow molding machine, it pairs with the mold carrier on the right side to form a mold clamping unit. It is part of the blow mold opening and closing mechanism and directly supports half of the blow mold, rotating with the turret while performing its own opening and closing motion.
FUNCTIONS
1. Supports, positions, and locks the bottle-blowing half-mold to ensure precise alignment during mold closure;
2. Serves as a force-transmission base, connecting to the cam rocker arm to enable rapid mold opening and closing;
3. Provide media connection ports to facilitate the routing of cooling air and cooling media through the mold;
4. Withstand the high-pressure closing reaction forces during bottle blowing, maintain stable mold positioning during the molding stage, and ensure the quality of the preform blow molding process.
