A slender, cylindrical pin made of silver-white metal. Unlike the standard cylindrical pin (0724512241) described above, its outer surface features longitudinal/straight slots (or semi-through slots), and both ends are typically chamfered to facilitate press-fitting. The surface exhibits a precision cold-headed or machined finish (presumably made of spring steel, stainless steel, or hardened steel), and achieves a tight fit within the hole through its own slight elasticity or deformation of the slots. It is commonly used in conjunction with countersunk bolts (0905145191), bushings (0902045966), control levers (0902121761), and cylinder pins, among others, serving as anti-loosening positioning and lock-free fasteners for production line equipment. Specific materials and tolerances are subject to the official BOM.
Applications
1. Quick-change positioning holes in Krones filling valve assemblies; anti-rotation pins for capping head sliders/clamps; precision positioning of bottle-washing star wheel interface flanges; anti-displacement pins for conveyor guide rail joints; and anti-loosening hinge points for various levers/swing arms (such as control levers) and bushings.
2. Typically pressed directly into drilled and reamed holes, or used in conjunction with the aforementioned bolts/bushings as internal mandrels and anti-rotation references to eliminate assembly clearance and withstand high-frequency alternating shear forces.
3. Specific installation levels, pin diameters, groove types (full groove/half groove/straight groove), and mating hole tolerances must be verified against the specific model’s assembly drawings and parts lists.
Functions
1. Anti-loosening and precision positioning: Utilizes the micro-elastic interference provided by the grooves to achieve zero-backlash radial positioning, preventing the pin from disengaging or rotating due to prolonged vibration.
2. Articulation and Load-bearing: Acts as the rotational/sliding guide center for levers, clamping jaws, or micro-motion mechanisms, withstanding high-frequency reciprocating shear and friction.
3. No Additional Locking Required: Secures upon press-fit, simplifying the structural layout and facilitating rapid changeovers and maintenance disassembly on production lines (which typically require punching or ejecting).
