The head features a typical countersunk (flat-tapered) design with a slotted or hex socket drive on top, and the shank has standard machine threads. This design ensures that, once screwed into a mating hole, the head sits completely flush with the workpiece surface or is countersunk into the hole, preventing protrusion and interference. It is commonly used in conjunction with bushings (0902045966), control levers (0902121761), cylinder pins (0724512241), and various bottle clamps and guide rail assemblies, serving as a foundational component for precision fastening and surface-level assembly in production line equipment.

Applications
1. Countersunk holes on the flange surfaces of Krones filling valve assemblies, the slider/lever hinge plates of capping heads, the junction points of the star wheels on bottle-washing turntables, the joint surfaces of conveyor guide rails, or low-interference mounting points on various quick-change clamping fixtures and sensor brackets.
2. Typically, these are inserted through countersunk holes into the aforementioned bushings or come into direct contact with moving parts (such as control levers or bottle clamps). They are secured to the frame or shaft housing using spring washers, anti-loosening adhesive, or pre-applied threadlocker, working in conjunction with cylindrical pins to ensure precise component alignment and prevent off-center loading.
