Product Description
These custom-shaped elastic adjustment components feature flexibility, fatigue resistance, and wear resistance, making them suitable for the high-frequency micro-movements and wet-area CIP cleaning environments found in beverage and food packaging production lines.
The strip-shaped, bent structure enables stable elastic deformation and return force when both arms are under load; these components are commonly used as custom-made auxiliary parts for adjusting and compensating for minute gaps.
With stringent requirements for geometric dimensions and elastic modulus, these components serve as the elastic foundation for mechanical tensioning or clamping systems.
Applications
1. Fine-tuning mechanisms for Krones filling valve assemblies; clamping/lifting buffer points on capping heads; bottle inlet ends of bottle-washing turntables; tensioning points at star wheel transfer points; or direction-change adjustment points on conveyor guide rails.
2. Often used in conjunction with bottle holders, steel sleeves, stainless steel shafts, and buffers, among other components, to serve as force-transmitting carriers for elastic shims, tension springs, fork return mechanisms, or limit probes.
3. Specific installation locations, force directions, and mating clearances must be verified against the assembly drawings and parts lists for the specific machine model.
Functions
1. Elastic Adjustment and Tensioning: Provides continuous fine-tuning thrust or tensile force through its own deformation, ensuring a stable contact clearance between clamps, guide rails, or star wheels and the bottle body.
2. Cushioning and Reset: Absorbs minor vibrations and impacts during high-speed production line operation, prevents noise caused by hard metal-to-metal contact, and assists the mechanism in returning to its original position after an action is completed.
3. Isolation and Protection: When made of plastic or rubber, these components isolate metal-to-metal friction and reduce the risk of metal shavings contaminating the production line.
Features
1. Compact and custom-designed; self-lubricating properties or high elasticity are directly related to the material of the mating parts (specific material grades are subject to official specifications).
2. The fatigue life and mechanical calibration accuracy are directly determined by the arm thickness tolerance, stress concentration points at the inner bends, and end chamfers.
3. These are high-frequency deformation components prone to wear and requiring regular inspection: Long-term alternating loads can lead to plastic deformation (failure to open or close), surface scuffing or cracking, end wear resulting in blunting or material loss, or material aging and embrittlement.
