EPDM material is resistant to hot water, steam, and acidic and alkaline cleaning agents, making it suitable for high-temperature CIP/SIP cleaning conditions; NBR offers excellent oil resistance.
4. Good Compression Recovery
Under bolt preload, the rubber material deforms moderately to fill microscopic irregularities on the sealing surface; it returns to its original shape upon unloading and is reusable.
