Product Description
Hexagonal cylindrical structure, with an exterior designed to facilitate the application of torque using a wrench or socket for tightening.
Internal threaded design, with a ring of blue nylon/polyamide insert pressed into the hole opening (faint machining marks are visible on some sides).
Applications
Widely used in KHS bottle-blowing, filling, labeling, packaging, and conveyor lines:
1. Mechanisms subject to frequent vibration: such as bottle clamps, swing arms, star wheels, cam followers, and bolt fasteners at conveyor chain tension adjustment points.
2. All connection and fastening points on motors, gear reducers, pneumatic cylinders, guide rails, protective covers, and machine frames.
3. Shaft ends or mounting seats that interface with previously inspected moving parts such as bearings, rollers, bushings, and lead screws.
Functions
1. Works in conjunction with bolts or screws with external threads to securely clamp and connect mechanical components.
2. Core anti-loosening function: When tightened, the internal nylon ring is slightly expanded by the threads, generating continuous radial friction that locks the threads in place, preventing the nut from loosening on its own during frequent equipment start-ups and shutdowns, vibrations, or cleaning impacts.
3. Ensures the reliability and safety of mechanical connections for long-term equipment operation.
