Product Description
Black annular elastic seal with a rubber-based outer ring and a lip-type/oil seal cross-sectional structure.
The outer circumference is designed for static sealing and mating with the housing, while the inner side or end face features a sealing lip for contact with rotating, reciprocating, or static mating surfaces.
Packaged as individual spare parts, these are sealing replacement parts for bottle-blowing mold systems.
Applications
Used for sealing applications in bottle blowing machines and blowing molds, such as:
1. Molding surfaces of bottle blowing molds (including the closed mold, bottom mold, and half-mold) or sealing areas in the air circuit.
2. Seals related to the blow valve, stretching/blow rods, and mold air inlet/high-pressure air channels.
3. Annular sealing locations that require compressed air sealing during the blow molding process.
Functions
1. Lip-type design: Directional; during installation, verify the orientation of the lip/pressure side to ensure that air pressure or the medium helps the lip seal tightly against the sealing surface.
2. The rubber offers good elasticity and low compression set, making it suitable for cyclic operation and fluctuations in air pressure.
3. Large dimensions and thin walls (10 mm thick) make it suitable for annular groove or molded flange installations.
4. Resistant to compressed air, water vapor, and beverage line cleaning environments; If exposed to specific CIP solutions, disinfectants, or high temperatures, verify compatibility according to KHS material specifications.
5. Low leakage and easy maintenance and replacement make it a common consumable seal in blow-molding airtight systems.
6. Before installation, inspect the seal groove for scratches or foreign objects, and ensure there is no distortion, flanging, or nicks; when replacing the seal, it is recommended to simultaneously check the roughness, wear, and concentricity of the mating metal surfaces.
