Product Description
Light gray/grayish-white annular flanged bushing with the overall appearance of a plastic or polymer-based bearing bushing.
One end features a flange (shoulder/land) for axial positioning, limiting, and press-fit/installation alignment.
The inner bore is designed for a sliding bearing, the outer diameter fits into the mounting housing bore, and the middle section serves as the cylindrical bearing surface.
With a relatively smooth surface and lightweight construction, it is suitable for low-friction sliding or rotational applications.
Visually, it resembles an engineering plastic or lubricant-impregnated polymer bearing bushing, or a PTFE, PEEK, or nylon-based sliding bearing.
Applications
1. Pin supports on grippers, bottle clamps, bottle holders, gripper arms, or linkages;
2. Low-frequency/medium-frequency rotating or oscillating positions, such as lifting rods, guide rods, swing rods, and hinge points;
3. Guide and rotational pivot points in filling valves, indexing wheels, and conveying mechanisms;
4. Areas that mate with metal pins (or shafts) to serve as friction-reducing bearing surfaces.
Functions
1. Acts as a sliding bearing/bushing to support pins or shafts, reducing intermetallic friction and wear.
2. Provides low-friction guidance for rotational, oscillating, and light reciprocating motion.
3. The flanged end is used for axial positioning to prevent the bushing from shifting or sinking within the housing bore.
4. Protects mating pins/shafts from direct contact with metal bores and housings, extending the service life of the mechanism.
5. Reduces maintenance requirements and is suitable for beverage production lines with humid conditions, cleaning agent environments, and mechanisms subject to frequent operation.
