Product Description
Rectangular, rounded-corner plate- or block-shaped parts with a single central hole designed to facilitate fastening via bolts or pins (e.g., bolts or shaft-type components).
The parts feature a dark, matte finish and are presumed to be made of elastomer or wear-resistant polymer. They offer excellent shock absorption, noise reduction, and wear resistance, as well as some resistance to corrosion from cleaning solutions, making them suitable for production line environments.
With uniform thickness and a centrally located hole, these components are standardized assembly accessories or consumable cushioning parts.
Applications
1. The bottoms and mating surfaces of Krones filling, capping, bottle washing, labeling, conveyor chains, star wheel transfer mechanisms, or lifting/clamping mechanisms.
2. Commonly used as guide rail spacers, cushioning pads on the bottoms of bottle supports or clamps (e.g., bottle holders), support pads for protective plates, and as shims or stop blocks under fine-adjustment mechanisms (in conjunction with wedges).
Functions
1. Cushioning and Shock Absorption: Absorbs impact forces generated by high-speed operation or bottle collisions, reducing abnormal noises and mechanical vibrations.
2. Support and Positioning: Serves as a reference spacer to provide a stable mounting surface; works in conjunction with the center hole to ensure precise positioning and secure fastening.
3. Wear Protection and Isolation: Prevents direct contact between metal parts, protects the bottle body and guide rails, and prevents debris from being generated by metal friction, while also providing fine-tuning for clearance compensation.
Features
1. Made of a flexible, wear-resistant non-metallic material, it is easy to maintain and gentle on contacting parts.
2. The size of the center hole, the thickness of the body, its flatness, and the degree of material aging directly determine the reliability of the locking mechanism and the effectiveness of the cushioning.
3. This is a high-frequency, pressure- and friction-prone wear part: prolonged operation can lead to permanent compression deformation, cracking, wear causing the hole to enlarge, surface spalling, or hardening, which in turn can result in mechanical play or abnormal noises.
